I Will apply one of the activities proposed by Paul Seligson to a group of students of the 1st year of Compulsory Secondary Education.
We are learning about the daily life of astronauts in space. There are two texts showing different aspects of the daily routine of an astronaut. Students will work in pairs.
Student A will read the first text to student b pausing before some words for student B to guess them.
When they finish, student B will read the second text in the same way, pausing before some words for student A to guess them.
I think that this activity will work well with my students, they will be involved and motivated. In my opinion it will be an excellent way to review some previously acquired vocabulary and also to learn new words.
