Idea from M. Rinvolucri : "Humanize your textbook". Once a text from the course book has been read and exploited the usual way and students are familiar with it .
With books closed, the teacher reads the text ALOUD changing words at random : names , adjectives, actions ... and whenever they notice the change they are free to shout the word they remember from the original text.
It´s a good listening activity which gives the chance to all the students realize they understand more than they expect, keep them awake and attentive and it is challenging and fun!
